This full-time position allows for remote work while also engaging directly with our outpatient office in Rochester, NY. This position offers a hybrid work setting, allowing you to operate remotely while having the option to connect with colleagues and clients at our outpatient office in Rochester, NY. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the needs and schedules of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that are informed by evidence-based practices, with careful consideration of developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and family therapy, ensuring a tailored approach to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge needed to create nurturing home environments.
\n
• Collaborate with a team of skilled child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong analytical skills to assess situations and direct clients and families to appropriate resources.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community support services available in Rochester.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.

• Remain current with ongoing research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with children and adolescents facing a myriad of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, showcasing a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is recommended.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
