Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, carefully evaluating each client’s needs, history, and challenges to create personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, addressing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and more.

• Document and manage client progress using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping for enhanced patient care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training, staying up-to-date with the latest therapeutic methodologies and best practices in mental health care.

• Collaborate with other health care providers, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and community resources to coordinate holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on supporting individuals from various backgrounds who may be experiencing emotional distress or mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license or certification in the state of New York, specifically LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing therapeutic support to individuals with emotional and mental health challenges.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport quickly with diverse clients and to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance.
