Work Environment\n

This role offers the convenience of a remote work setting while still being a part of a vibrant community of mental health professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Saturday, giving you the flexibility to determine your schedule within those days. We provide comprehensive support through in-house credentialing and management of scheduling, allowing you to focus solely on your patients and interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, including children, adolescents, and families, to determine their mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Perform initial patient evaluations and triage care based on assessment outcomes, ensuring timely intervention and support for each client.
\n
• Document and communicate treatment plans and progress with multidisciplinary teams through meetings and documentation processes such as patient rounds, ensuring cohesive care strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to guide clients in achieving their personal therapy goals.

• Manage casework for assigned patients, collaborating with community resources and professionals from other sectors to enhance the care continuum.

• Ensure all documentation related to client care is completed ethically and within the required timelines of the department.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Inner Fire Wellness Center, our client base encompasses a wide range of individuals grappling with mental health challenges. You will work with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds, providing outpatient therapy to clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Mental Health Professional in New York State as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required, and further education is encouraged.

• Commitment to working between 10 to 40 hours per week, with potential for expanded hours as the practice grows.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with clients.

• Experience working in community health settings or outpatient facilities will be advantageous.

• Proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities beyond CBT is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Inner Fire Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to $100,000 annually, which will be commensurate with your experience and credentials. Our employment package includes:
