Accounts Assistant St. Louis ForensicTreatmentCenter–North,5351DelmarBlvd.St.Louis,MO63112 This full-time Accounts Assistant position at the St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center – North Campus handles billing, data entry in CIMOR, and financial reconciliation and critical thinking for Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital and both FTC campus location. Responsibilities: Effectively manage claims for Hawthorn and FTC, which involves monthly cycle of claims submission, monitoring, and denial management across Manage Care, Private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid Claims in various systems to ensure reimbursement while complying with payer guidelines. Prepares monthly lab reports from LabCorp Pathology for entry into CIMOR for billing purposes. Processing medical bills via Healthlink’s Access Database and send letters to the providers as needed. Maintaining monthly billing spreadsheets for Cost Reporting involves using Excel workbook to track, categorize, and total revenue. Adding and determining the correct Revenue code to use for checks ensure proper posting on the checklog. Gather, sort and distribute incoming mail to the correct individuals or department. Miscellaneous duties as needed.
