Office Coordinator – Medical Practice
Newport Beach, CA
$35/hr | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Join a well-established specialty medical practice in Newport Beach seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Coordinator / Medical Assistant Lead to support daily operations and keep the front and back office running smoothly. This is a key role with visibility to leadership and opportunity for long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate daily office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Support pre-operative and procedure-related processes
  • Handle medical records and ensure accurate documentation
  • Oversee the basic office duties: collect patient payments, manage patient scheduling, phone communications, and front desk workflow
  • Oversee administrative compliance tasks (licenses, documentation, etc.)
  • Provide supervision and support to a team of 4

What They’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office environment
  • Must have Medical Assistant experience in both front and back office functions, including prescription processing.
  • Experience in a specialty practice setting (GI - gastroenterology or internal medicine experience required)
  • Familiarity with medical records, procedures, and patient coordination
  • Strong communication skills with both patients and staff
  • Proven job stability and consistent work history
  • Professional, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Schedule & Environment:

  • Mon-Thurs.-  8:30am - 5:00pm, Fri. 8:30am - 12:00pm 
  • No weekends
  • Professional clinical setting - Black Scrubs
