Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their needs for orthopedic physical therapy.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the physician's care directives and evidence-based practices.
• Implement high-quality treatment procedures, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Conduct educational sessions with patients and their families, providing guidance on in-home exercises and therapy techniques to support ongoing recovery.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure that all documentation meets agency policies and professional standards, maintaining clear communication with other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic patients, often recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions. You will work with patients of various ages, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual needs. Your role is critical in helping these patients regain mobility, manage pain, and return to their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are required.
• Strong proficiency in evaluation and treatment of various orthopedic conditions.
• Solid computer skills for maintaining patient records and utilizing electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years in outpatient care is essential, experience in a specialized rehabilitation environment or advanced training in manual therapy would be advantageous. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities and patient management software will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
