Ultimate Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist with expertise in trauma-informed care. In this full-time remote role, you will play a crucial part in helping clients overcome the impacts of trauma, leading them on their journey of healing and recovery.

Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort while serving our clients. We maintain a strong culture of collaboration where our therapists connect regularly via virtual meetings and team consultations. Expectations include a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet patients' needs. This remote setting ensures that our team remains closely knit and effectively communicates to provide continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to empower patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create an integrated care approach for the benefit of patient outcomes.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to support recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops focused on the latest in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current on emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work primarily with clients who have experienced significant trauma. This includes individuals with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders who are seeking to rebuild their lives. Your role is vital in guiding these individuals through their healing journey, providing essential support and tailored therapeutic interventions as they process their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Keen understanding of and experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments and effectively support clients in crisis.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software applications.

• A capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting, exemplifying a commitment to holistic care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to deliver effective mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
