Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gather pertinent client history, understand presenting problems, and accurately develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Provide effective individual, couple, and family therapy sessions that employ evidenced-based practices to achieve measurable outcomes for clients.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary mental health teams to ensure integrated care approach, facilitating communication and continuity of services.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring all records reflect each client’s journey and outcomes.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay abreast of the latest trends in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with a diverse client base including individuals, couples, and families, encompassing varying demographics and backgrounds. You will be equipped to provide culturally competent therapy services that consider the unique challenges faced by each client, ensuring their voices are heard and validated within the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field, ensuring a strong theoretical foundation for practice.

• A valid LMFT license in California, permitting you to provide therapeutic services in the state.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in best practices in marriage and family therapy.

• Proven ability to craft effective treatment plans that utilize the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for a variety of mental health issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for meaningful client engagement and collaborative teamwork.

• Experience and comfort in using electronic health records, particularly for documenting treatment and tracking client progress.
