Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing the Nurse Practitioner to engage closely with students, faculty, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of students to assess their health, identify any medical concerns, and implement necessary interventions.

• Facilitate referrals to various healthcare professionals and medical facilities, ensuring a coordinated approach to student health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve students, including those from low-income and underserved communities. Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• An active DEA license to authorize the prescription of controlled substances.

• A Master's degree in Nursing, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, or completion of an accredited NP Certificate Program.
• Certification from a recognized body, such as the AANP or ANCC.
