Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health histories and perform problem-specific examinations tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order and interpret essential diagnostic tests, ensuring timely and accurate results to inform treatment decisions.
• Identify and manage a variety of common health issues, including acute and chronic conditions, while adhering to established clinical guidelines.
• Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care, incorporating diverse treatment modalities such as medications, nutrition, and exercise plans.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to create thoughtful patient care plans, making referrals to specialists as necessary.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and make adjustments to care plans as needed, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records.
• Conduct telephone consultations, provide laboratory follow-up, and triage walk-in patients, directing them to appropriate providers as required.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, healthcare providers, and non-medically trained staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Assist in mentoring newly hired nurse practitioners, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in developing and revising agency-specific practice guidelines to ensure best practices are followed.
• Engage in periodic audits of peer practice to maintain the highest quality of patient care, supporting continuous organizational improvement.
• Maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of all patient information.
• Provide direct patient care in clinical sessions, emphasizing a compassionate patient-centered approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily focus on the pediatric population, which includes infants, children, and adolescents. Compensation and Benefits
