Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote working arrangement, providing flexibility while ensuring that you remain connected with a supportive team of professionals. While the counselors primarily work from home, we maintain a strong emphasis on teamwork, regularly hosting virtual meetings and case consultations to enhance collaboration and sharing of best practices. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient appointments and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to engage individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community among patients facing common mental health concerns.
\n
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate attention to their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about their mental health diagnoses, how to manage their symptoms effectively, and outline the available treatment modalities and community resources.

• Ensure precise and confidential documentation of treatment sessions and patient care in compliance with all federal and state regulations.

• Engage in professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to keep abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and treatment interventions.

• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver therapeutic services to both groups and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and their application in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
