Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for new clients, collecting background information and establishing baselines for treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of clients, taking into account their unique backgrounds and challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to foster recovery and personal growth.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to develop integrated care plans.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Tennessee.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for documentation and treatment planning.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and current trends in mental health treatment.

• Familiarity with psychotropic medications and their impact on treatment outcomes.

• Previous experience in clinical assessments and developing intervention strategies.
