Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments independently to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing, to address specific challenges faced by students.

• Collaborate with school staff, educators, and other healthcare providers to develop a holistic approach to student mental health and academic performance.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed to ensure the best outcomes.

• Facilitate workshops and group therapy sessions focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and stress management.

• Advocate for students and their families within the academic system while ensuring that mental health considerations are incorporated into education plans.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications under the guidance of medical providers, focusing on adherence, side effects, and overall effectiveness.

You will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school setting, supporting them in navigating various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, qualifying you for independent practice.

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois.

• A minimum of one year of post-licensure experience working as an independently licensed therapist, preferably in a mental health or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
