The flexible work schedule allows our team to operate efficiently Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide crisis intervention for patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with medical professionals to effectively communicate patient progress, requirements, and any pressing concerns.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, including progress notes, in accordance with the department’s policies and state regulations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with healthcare team members, which include discharge planning based on psychosocial assessments.

• Engage with local community resource leaders to foster partnerships and represent Bedford Healthcare Center at meetings and committees focused on addressing the social needs of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance abuse challenges. Our counselors are essential in providing empathetic support, therapeutic interventions, and life skills training aimed at enhancing their clients' quality of life and personal resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of professional counseling experience, ideally within an outpatient or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
