This remote opportunity is designed to accommodate flexible schedules, primarily after school hours from 4 PM to 7 PM, with some weekend availability welcomed. Key Responsibilities\n

The LMFT will undertake a variety of therapeutic responsibilities, including:

• Conducting individual in-home treatment sessions or facilitating group therapy sessions at our outpatient clinic to address behavioral challenges.

• Implementing evidence-based practices to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression, while teaching clients effective anger management techniques and coping strategies.
\n
• Working collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other specialists to devise comprehensive care plans that are tailored to each child’s unique circumstances.
\n
• Regularly documenting all relevant treatment information, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with clinic standards and within specified timelines.

• Participating in regular team meetings to provide insights, share case updates, and contribute to program improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing therapeutic support primarily to children aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental or intellectual disabilities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with children from diverse backgrounds, employing a strengths-based approach to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Your role will be vital in guiding caregivers in enhancing their decision-making abilities and improving familial dynamics.

Qualifications\n

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Hold an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Demonstrate availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during the designated after-school hours, with weekend flexibility as an added advantage.

• Exhibit proficiency in providing positive behavior support with a focus on behavioral modification techniques.

• Have prior experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be preferred:

• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese to enhance communication with diverse families.

• Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and knowledge of local community resources.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, Three Rivers provides:
