Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, cultivating rapport while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, enhance stability, and schedule follow-up appointments or discharges when appropriate.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine initial treatment needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth, providing critical mental health support for adolescents experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by young clients, you will design interventions that resonate with their experiences and promote sustainable coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field, ensuring a solid foundation in psychological principles.

• Current and valid LPC licensure in Texas, reflecting a commitment to maintaining professional standards.

• Demonstrated ability to fulfil internal credentialing requirements for telehealth services.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations affected by substance abuse.

• Proficient in assessment and diagnostic practices, with a strong background in both individual and group therapy modalities.

• Familiarity with digital tools, including electronic health records and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While not essential, experience in trauma-informed care practices and working in diverse clinical settings will be an advantage. Familiarity with the latest telehealth technologies and the adaptability to utilize these tools effectively in therapy sessions is encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits\n
