Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is based onsite in our rehabilitation facility, where you will engage directly with patients in a collaborative and modern healthcare setting. Our center features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities designed to optimize the rehabilitation experience. Working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, you will be part of a close-knit team that values commitment, passion, and teamwork in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient-centered assessment and care planning by collaborating with the patient care team, including physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical status to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to achieve specific rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized therapeutic modalities, ensuring alignment with the physician's orders.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic techniques and the proper use of rehabilitation equipment to facilitate continued healing at home.
• Monitor and document patient progress rigorously, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Lead the physical therapy team in prioritizing caseloads effectively, determining staffing requirements, and coordinating patient care assignments for optimal service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic ranges from adults to pediatric clients requiring various rehabilitation interventions, including post-surgical recovery and therapeutic care for chronic conditions. You will engage with patients experiencing mobility issues, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries. Your goal will be to empower them on their journey to restoration and improved functionality.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation services.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams facilitating integrated patient care processes.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation methodologies relevant to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
