Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs, including strength, mobility, and function.
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as exercise, manual therapy, and modalities utilizing equipment.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously by tracking and documenting treatments, responses, and improvements in their physical condition.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on re-evaluations and patient feedback to ensure maximum effectiveness in reaching therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management techniques, including exercises and the appropriate use of assistive devices to enhance independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide training on physical therapy best practices, extending support to caregivers and families involved in the patient's care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy through professional development activities, including workshops and networking within professional societies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with New Jersey state regulations.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in electronic health record (EHR) systems, documentation, and general word processing.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules, demonstrating an agile approach to therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of prior clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, while new graduates are also encouraged to apply as we provide mentorship opportunities.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, particularly in rehabilitation settings.
• Background in using contemporary therapy methodologies and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
