Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Renewed Harmony Counseling, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting detailed clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Developing individualized treatment plans based on established best practices and integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards to ensure confidentiality and effective care.

• Collaborating with school personnel and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care for students.

• Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance the quality of our therapeutic services.

• Providing psychoeducation to students and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources in the community.

• Managing a full caseload effectively while ensuring that treatment goals are met in a timely manner.

• Staying current with industry research and integrating new findings into your clinical practice to continuously improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population for this position includes students facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach will be essential in fostering trust and rapport, enabling you to facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships. You will provide support to not only the students but also their families, empowering them with the tools they need to support their loved ones effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.
