Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where you will engage in meaningful interactions with clients, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team. The virtual nature of the position supports integration of technology into therapeutic practices, enabling access to resources and care management tools.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth bio-psychosocial assessments to identify the mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs of clients within the primary care setting, ensuring age and culturally appropriate evaluations.

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services, including intake sessions, assessment and evaluation, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Provide comprehensive referrals and liaising services connecting clients to local resources, community agencies, and medication assistance programs critical to their recovery journey.

• Document all interactions and assessments electronically, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organization protocols.
\n
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives by collaborating with teams to develop effective data collection processes and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing mental health challenges and substance abuse issues, often in crisis situations due to detoxification processes. Your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate their recovery, providing them with the tools and support necessary for positive outcomes and sustainable mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• At least three years of post-licensure experience providing therapeutic services in clinical settings.

• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical scenarios.

• Effective group facilitation skills and familiarity with case planning processes are essential.

Preferred Experience\n
