Key Qualifications:

• Special Education Teacher certification (valid for Illinois)
• Experience or interest in cross-categorical programming and working with students with autism
• Ability to implement grade-level academic instruction alongside IEP objectives

• Commitment to structured, visual, behavioral, and sensory supports

Responsibilities:

• Deliver cross-categorical instructional programming for grades 1-2
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, communication, adaptive, and functional needs
• Align lessons to grade-level standards and individualized IEP goals
• Apply evidence-based interventions, structured and visual supports, behavioral and sensory strategies
• Work closely with aides and related service providers to promote student success
