This position operates within an outpatient office environment, leveraging remote capabilities to ensure accessibility for both clients and therapists. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments encompassing psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand each patient's unique situation.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that embrace their cultural context and address their personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in various formats—individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring that clients experiencing acute distress have the support they need, and coordinate transitions to other healthcare services.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in line with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and treatment strategies, empowering them to manage their conditions more effectively.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to review client progress and refine treatment strategies based on assessment outcomes.

• Stay abreast of current research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge into your clinical practice.

• Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines to safeguard patient information.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds who may be dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build rapport with patients from varied cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or working with diverse populations will be given preference.
