Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to aid clients in decreasing stress levels and enhancing their overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients, identifying their unique stressors and goals to tailor mindfulness practices that address their specific needs.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, designed to cultivate self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies for resilience building.

• Incorporate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, directly addressing mental health concerns while supporting clients’ journeys toward emotional stability and personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues in an interdisciplinary team to ensure that mindfulness practices are integrated effectively into comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions executed, and treatment plans as part of compliance and clinical best practices.

• Participate in regular personal mindfulness practices and continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in mindfulness-based methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York is mandatory.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
