Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use histories and mental health conditions, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and any underlying mental health concerns, tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to foster engagement and promote recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated approaches to care, sharing insights and strategies that enhance the overall client experience.

• Provide education and support to clients' families, facilitating their involvement in the recovery process to strengthen the support network around the individual.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our diverse client population ranges from adolescents to adults, encompassing various backgrounds and circumstances. You will work with clients at different stages of recovery, enabling them to overcome obstacles while fostering resilience and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated competency in addiction counseling, supported by relevant training or experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and mental health, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Strong therapeutic skills, especially in motivating clients and fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
