Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring their unique backgrounds inform therapeutic approaches.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health needs and fostering resilience.

• Maintain accurate billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and are completed within designated timelines.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans, enabling clients to maintain stable functioning and navigate life’s challenges.

• Create effective discharge plans that prepare clients to transition smoothly from therapy, while continuing their mental health journey independently.

• Adhere to all current federal and state laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies, to uphold the integrity and safety of our practice.

• Engage in continued professional development through training and continuing education to remain at the forefront of mental health practices.

• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to foster a culture of collaborative care and shared learning among peers.

• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training to maintain compliance and enhance personal knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, consisting of children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies you for licensing.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and delivering quality care to clients.

Preferred Experience\n
