As a licensed clinical social worker in a school environment, you will collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and administrative staff to create an inclusive support network for students. Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental and emotional well-being.

• Providing individualized therapy sessions (individual, family, and group therapy) tailored to students’ needs utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

• Co-developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.

• Partnering with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment experience for our clients, focusing on school-based wellness.

• Assisting with urgent cases by offering crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when needed.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and peer support groups, fostering a community of understanding and growth.

• Documenting all interactions and interventions thoroughly and in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support students from diverse backgrounds, who may be experiencing challenges related to mental health such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your expertise will guide students, families, and school staff in understanding and addressing mental health concerns, promoting a healthy and supportive school climate.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program recognized by the Council on Social Work Education.

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
