Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations using standardized tools to accurately understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans guided by evidence-based practices, tailoring your approach to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage in crisis intervention to support clients during acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating your expertise in managing such high-pressure situations compassionately and effectively.

• Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a holistic care approach for our clients.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational campaigns to increase mental health awareness and alleviate stigma in Fort Worth and surrounding areas.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals from varying ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will focus on assisting clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your cultural competence will enable you to provide sensitive and individualized care that respects clients' unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• Possession of a master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology .

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust quickly with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with a broad range of clients.

• Strong organizational abilities, including timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing therapy in a remote or telehealth setting is highly desirable.

• Prior experience working in a detox facility or with substance use disorder clients is a plus.
