Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Provide therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, as well as individual and family counseling, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.

• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client progress and treatment effectiveness in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create a comprehensive care strategy for clients, which may include consultations with physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults, but may also engage with children and adolescents, depending on your expertise and client needs. Your focus will be on diverse populations presenting a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your work will significantly impact their quality of life, promoting coping strategies and therapeutic techniques that facilitate growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.

• Strong understanding and application of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
