Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will work in a collaborative onsite environment alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility needed to address varying patient needs and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Implement and supervise therapeutic exercise regimens tailored specifically to each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, recording changes in range of motion, strength, and function.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics, correct exercise techniques, and create home exercise programs that facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Utilize various modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound to enhance the therapeutic experience under professional guidance.
• Foster a supportive and motivating rehabilitation environment, offering emotional encouragement and motivation during sessions.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and other specialists to ensure cohesive and effective patient management.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment in an organized and sanitized manner, ensuring readiness for all therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy is required.
