Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and establishing tailored therapy treatment goals.

• Providing both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are most effective for our patient population.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential records of patient observations and therapy sessions, aligned with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Evaluating the progress of therapy interventions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Connecting clients with relevant community resources and therapeutic activities to support their ongoing mental health journey.

• Documenting all therapy sessions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure coordinated care for patients.

• Engaging in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and regular supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that may include adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active and independent license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a clinical mental health setting.

Preferred Experience\n
