Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing and maintaining rapport and professional boundaries.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and goals.

• Schedule and lead regular counseling sessions, providing individual therapy tailored to client challenges, including progress reviews and readiness for discharge.

• Document client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of professional practice.

• Participate in individual supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share best practices with colleagues.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care providers to promote comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.

• Maintain ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health care and therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is primarily on youth and young adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Additionally, our clinic serves clients facing substance use challenges. By employing a holistic and client-centered approach, the LPC will help clients identify coping mechanisms, set achievable goals, and embark on their personal journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• Proven ability to meet internal credentialing requirements and clinical standards.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or within substance abuse treatment contexts.

• Strong foundational experience in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for both individual and group sessions.

• Proficiency in computer use, including familiarity with electronic health records and basic software systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is a plus.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
