Renewed Beginnings Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative telehealth team. Our outpatient services are designed to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Our team consists of experienced child psychiatrists and seasoned therapists working together to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care for our young patients.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients. We operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our young clients and their families. As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work from home while being part of a supportive and collaborative virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and personalized interviews to evaluate their emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's developmental stage, family dynamics, and specific mental health challenges.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health concerns and promote effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic, and integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to effectively manage acute situations involving children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them with knowledge and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continual professional development to enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Stay updated on current research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with young individuals and their families through empathy and understanding.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary remote team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within pediatric or adolescent settings.

• Experience with telehealth practices and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
