Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through telehealth consultations, documenting findings meticulously from the initial interview to the conclusion of the treatment process.

• Evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental health to tailor individualized treatment approaches.
\n
• Develop and implement therapeutic intervention and recovery plans for diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions both individually and in group formats, employing various therapeutic modalities to enhance client engagement and outcomes.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, regularly revising treatment plans based on observed changes and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Manage referrals and follow-ups with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment continuity.

• Identify and mitigate potential barriers to recovery, empowering clients and their support systems to navigate challenges effectively.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges experienced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services cater to a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing different mental health issues. This role is particularly focused on individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A strong foundation in counseling theory and practice, supported by previous experience in a similar mental health counseling role.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to document client interactions efficiently.

• Experience in addressing both mental health conditions and co-occurring physical health or addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and an understanding of medications prescribed by medical specialists related to mental health.
