Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide expert clinical consultation to fellow clinicians on matters relating to mental health issues, including diagnosis and treatment strategies across various demographics.

• Effectively interpret and relay critical information regarding patients, including social histories, to multidisciplinary staff and healthcare providers.

• Coordinate comprehensive care planning, offering recommendations that address complex patient needs, particularly in terms of their home environment and support systems.

• Design individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and conduct thorough reviews of provider cases to ensure the adaptability of care methodologies.

• Maintain quality documentation by efficiently completing progress notes and reports following client sessions, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.

• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices within the field of mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on diverse outpatient populations, including geriatric clients, individuals experiencing mental health crises, and those battling substance use disorders. You will adapt your therapeutic approach to suit varying needs, leveraging techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and integrative treatment models to foster healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of active and independent licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
