Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with patients to set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding recovery processes, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in compliance with legal and regulatory expectations.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care for each patient, attending team meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented atmosphere.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, representing Orthoworks Physical Therapy and contributing to health education efforts.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards while maintaining licensure and certifications, including BLS certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. You will be responsible for customizing treatment approaches that address the unique needs and preferences of each patient, ensuring they feel empowered and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and related software for patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or clinical setting with a diverse patient demographic.
• Prior exposure to interdisciplinary team collaboration in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic cases.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
