Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' functional capabilities.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure the proper execution of therapy routines and adherence to treatment goals.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional abilities using specialized diagnostic tests and tools.
• Assess the home environment when necessary and provide recommendations to enhance clients' independence and safety during rehabilitation activities.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, ensuring all interventions are in line with physician prescriptions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in planning and reviewing client care strategies during case conferences.
• Document clinical information including initial evaluations, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate clients and their families on rehabilitation strategies and the use of assistive devices to promote effective recovery.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians and case managers regarding clients' progress and any necessary adjustments in their treatment plans.
• Regularly assess and update care plans; ensure all records meet the expectations of regulatory bodies and the facility's standards.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
