Fusion Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapists to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote role focuses on delivering high-quality mental health services to clients within a community health clinic setting. Work Environment

Working remotely, our therapists engage with clients through teletherapy, enabling flexible interactions tailored to personal circumstances. Although primarily a remote position, our team also benefits from structured collaboration during regular meetings and case consultations. The work week typically runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standard diagnostic tools, to identify individual patient needs and create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide diverse therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, employing modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy tailored to the client’s background and preferences.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on specific mental health topics to foster understanding, community, and support among participants.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure holistic care, providing consistent feedback and updates on patient progress.
• Respond swiftly to crisis situations, offering immediate support and interventions when mental health emergencies arise.
• Educate clients about their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and community resources available to support their recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage notes and treatment plans efficiently.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and relevant trainings, staying current with the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, reflecting varied backgrounds, experiences, and challenges. You will work with adolescents, adults, and families, particularly those from underserved communities, to promote equity in mental health care. Our therapists are instrumental in creating a supportive environment to discuss sensitive topics, helping clients recognize and address their mental health needs effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and a robust understanding of a variety of mental health disorders.
• Proven experience in implementing comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy to a variety of populations, adapting techniques to fit diverse needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Exemplary ethical judgment and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in necessary computer applications.
• Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling environments, benefiting both the therapist and the clients.
• Background in working with marginalized communities and a commitment to cultural competence in mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with community resources available for mental health support, further aiding patients in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
