Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Del Puerto Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include: \n \n Conducting comprehensive assessments of families and individuals to establish effective therapeutic plans tailored to specific needs. \n Facilitating couples counseling and family therapy sessions, nurturing dialogue and resolving conflicts among family members. \n Specializing in areas such as addiction, grief and loss, adjustment issues, and interpersonal violence through targeted interventions. \n Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to promote positive outcomes. \n Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes for all client interactions to ensure compliance with best practices and legal standards. \n Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your role will significantly impact various patient populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will address diverse challenges such as: \n • Alcohol Abuse \n • Physical/Psychological Abuse \n • Grief and Loss Issues \n • Family Conflicts and Communication Difficulties \n • Adjustment Issues due to Separation and Divorce \n By specializing in these areas, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their personal struggles and improve their family dynamics, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications\n To qualify for the position, candidates must possess the following: \n \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and ethical practices. \n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be preferred: \n \n Experience working in outpatient therapy settings, specifically with family units. \n Proficiency in teletherapy and adapting in-person modalities for virtual engagement. \n Experience dealing with complex family dynamics and a diverse range of mental health issues. \n Compensation and Benefits\n Del Puerto Behavioral Health offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
