Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, providing flexibility to both our therapists and clients. While you will primarily engage with clients via telehealth platforms, our team operates under a culture of support and collaboration. You will have direct access to ongoing professional development resources and case consultation opportunities to foster your growth as a mental health practitioner. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new clients to identify their individual needs, and create personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals and conditions.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, providing clients with the knowledge and peer support necessary to navigate their mental health journeys.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care and shared treatment objectives, including participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute mental distress or emergencies, ensuring timely and compassionate care.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available community resources, and self-care strategies to promote continued recovery.
\n
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and reviewing the latest research on mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact a diverse client base, including adults and families coping with various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches, along with proven skills in mental health assessment and planning.

• Experience delivering individualized and group therapy, showcasing effective communication and empathetic interaction with diverse clientele.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and able to navigate various computer applications relevant to telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of professional experience in providing mental health counseling or therapy, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
