Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, enabling flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a collaborative work environment through telehealth platforms. As mental health professionals, we utilize the latest technologies in electronic health records (EHR) to streamline documentation and enhance client care. Our team operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to evaluate their emotional and behavioral needs, using structured interview methods and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones, family dynamics, and best practice approaches.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, enhancing communication and support systems among parents, caregivers, and children.
• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and supportive staff to ensure a coordinated approach to care, optimizing treatment outcomes.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and vital community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with HIPAA and other legal standards, ensuring that patient records are up-to-date and reflective of our therapeutic processes.
• Participate proactively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest advancements in child and adolescent therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18, who present a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. This role emphasizes a child-centered approach, recognizing the unique developmental and emotional landscapes of our younger clients. You will also engage with families, providing guidance and support to help them navigate the complexities of their child's mental health journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy to young clients is highly preferable.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a nurturing and patient-centered approach.
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related computer applications.
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically with children and adolescents.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and family dynamics.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the technology associated with providing remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, together with performance-based bonuses. In addition, new team members will benefit from a sign-on bonus as an incentive to join our dedicated team. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
