Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop customized treatment plans, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques such as exercise, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment.
• Deliver treatments in accordance with established protocols while continuously monitoring patient progress.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment provided, and updates in treatment goals using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Regularly re-evaluate patients to adjust treatment plans and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on physical therapy methods, as well as utilizing assistive devices for enhanced mobility.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements by participating in workshops, training, and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters to a variety of patients recovering from diverse conditions, including orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. With a focus on individualized care, you will work with patients of all ages to help them regain their strength and mobility, enabling them to return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Avalid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, new graduates who show potential for excellence and possess a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
