Work Environment

The physical therapist position is on-site at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which offers a clean, welcoming space designed for effective therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new and ongoing patients, utilizing established protocols to evaluate mobility, strength, and current functional capabilities.
• Set realistic and achievable goals in collaboration with patients to improve their physical function and independence.
• Create personalized Treatment Plans that incorporate short-term and long-term objectives, adapting the approach based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Perform and document therapy sessions in compliance with the facility's policies, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and outcomes.
• Regularly engage in professional development by attending workshops and reviewing the latest research and publications in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the facility to enhance patient care and maintain a therapeutic environment conducive to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at PT Plus primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Candidates should be comfortable treating patients of various ages and backgrounds, demonstrating a flexible approach to distinct rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with AED training.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing physical therapy services, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits
