Work Environment

Our onsite rehabilitation facility provides a supportive and collaborative environment where teamwork and open communication are encouraged. As a part of our team, you will work in close conjunction with two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), allowing for a holistic approach to patient care. Our conducive facility is designed to accommodate a diverse range of rehabilitation needs, from athletic recovery to general mobility restoration, fostering a culture of wellness and innovative therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the individual needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring timely and efficient care while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Develop comprehensive physical therapy care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic exercises and interventions designed to enhance range of motion, functional strength, and mobility.
• Advise patients on non-surgical treatment options, aiming to reduce reliance on prescription medications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, analyze treatment results, and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate patients to achieve their best potential during treatment, fostering a positive and empowering rehabilitation experience.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse population of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation post-surgery, and those seeking treatment for chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and foundational knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Proficient in the use of EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individualized treatment programs and exercise regimens.
• A background in working with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
