This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Richmond, Virginia, where you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical function and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, manual therapy skills, and innovative treatment modalities to address a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor and supervise the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in accordance with the established treatment plan.
• Document patient progress meticulously through clinical records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage with clients and their families, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process to facilitate understanding and adherence to the treatment plan.
• Evaluate and modify treatment protocols based on patient response and evolving needs, in consultation with the interdisciplinary team and referring physicians.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative care planning to drive optimal treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated with advancements in the field of physical therapy and participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to tailor treatment approaches to align with individual patient goals will be essential in fostering meaningful recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current state licensure in Virginia as a physical therapist, with a record in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex information in an understandable manner to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinical documentation systems.
• A demonstrated history of achieving favorable patient outcomes through innovative and individualized treatment interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
