Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility, which spans over 5,000 square feet. Our spacious and well-equipped environment enables our therapists to implement a variety of treatment techniques efficiently. You will collaborate closely with two other experienced physical therapists, sharing knowledge and strategies to provide seamless and effective care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs through one-on-one consultations.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing diverse treatment methods to maximize patients' functional abilities.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring personalized attention during therapy sessions.
• Utilize our electronic medical records system, Athena Health, for documentation and management of patient care.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout treatment sessions to encourage progress and enhance their physical abilities.
• Track patient progress and communicate effectively with patients about their rehabilitation journey.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care plans when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with a variety of patients, including athletes and individuals requiring rehabilitation for strength and balance. We primarily treat patients covered by commercial insurance, in addition to private pay clients, allowing you to engage with a broad demographic seeking to regain their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctoral degree preferred).
• Must hold a valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Strong foundation in clinical assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse patient personalities and needs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating a broad range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation.
• Proficient in developing and implementing personalized fitness and wellness programs for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Athena Health is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your overall well-being:
