Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Directing and managing physical therapy treatments tailored to each patient's needs to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore functional capabilities.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure that the implementation of treatment plans aligns with patient goals.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, assessing muscle and joint function, as well as overall mobility.
• Assessing patients' living environments and providing recommendations to facilitate independence.
• Delivering prescribed physical therapy services, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various treatment modalities.
• Preparing clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, and progress reports, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engaging as an active member of the interdisciplinary team during case conferences, contributing insights to enhance the overall treatment strategy for each patient.
• Participating in continuous education and utilizing modern electronic medical record software such as Web PT for accurate patient tracking and documentation.
• Performing functional assessments and modifying care plans as necessary while collaborating with other healthcare providers on patient care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Competence in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for thorough documentation and patient tracking.
