The Physical Therapist will work in our onsite outpatient office located in Richmond, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, reviewing historical medical information to establish individualized treatment plans based on specific assessments.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting attainable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement targeted treatment protocols incorporating innovative techniques and approaches tailored to each patient's unique presentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to adjust care plans as necessary, documenting all changes and ensuring a holistic approach to the patient's treatment.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, including treatment summaries and evaluations.
• Exhibit effective time management skills while maintaining a productive and organized schedule, participating in team meetings on time and contributing to departmental initiatives.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional competency and serve as a mentor for students or new team members.
• Promote a patient-centric care experience by adapting services to meet evolving needs, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction and accessibility to care.
• Participate in community outreach programs to remove barriers to healthcare access and engage in organizational initiatives that leverage patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
