This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. You'll have access to an outpatient office facility where client interactions are conducted via teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings from initial consultations through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate insightful individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey and adjust plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other specialists to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients' hospital stays and ensure continuity of care upon discharge.
\n
• Recognize and address behaviors that hinder recovery, providing guidance and support to both clients and their families.

This role involves working with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A genuine passion for mental health and a commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems; familiarity with AVATAR is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting.

• Understanding of various treatment modalities and best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of the effects of pharmacological treatments provided by healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, paired with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
