Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while delivering effective therapy through telehealth platforms. We utilize advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance communication and coordination in delivering patient care. Your work week will typically consist of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on scheduling needs and patient availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' challenges, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, ensuring the highest quality of care for clients.

• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational support groups where patients can connect with others experiencing similar issues and foster a sense of community and support.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate holistic patient care, sharing insights and treatment strategies.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention to stabilize patients during emergencies.

• Engage in patient education regarding mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, aiding clients in making informed choices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance in all aspects of care.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Stay current with the latest developments in the mental health field, enriching your practice with the latest evidence-based findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge base regarding mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment approaches.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with a commitment to serving diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
