Work Environment

This position is based in our onsite outpatient office, where collaboration among healthcare professionals ensures high-quality care. Our work environment promotes teamwork and communication, providing staff with the necessary support to succeed. You will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare providers, utilizing advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies to deliver optimal care to our patients. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional capabilities and limitations, taking into account each patient's unique circumstances and health history.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient care team, focusing on measurable goals, patient engagement, and fostering a positive rehabilitation experience.
• Administer appropriate physical therapy treatments and modalities in line with the physician's prescribed plans, while ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards in practice.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, therapeutic modalities, and the use of assistive devices to promote ongoing recovery and independent living.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and any incidents that may affect the care plan.
• Regulate and prioritize your caseload effectively, coordinating daily staffing needs and managing hand-offs to ensure seamless continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A passion for improving patient outcomes and the ability to inspire others through effective communication and education.

Preferred Experience

• We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, demonstrating competency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly with diverse populations, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
